During my ibogaine journey at Beond, something unexpected happened. I went in thinking the experience would be about my past, about unpacking all the things that had broken me. It wasn’t. It was almost entirely about my future. I asked a lot of questions in those twelve hours, and I got a lot of answers. Looking back now, nearly everything I was shown has come true. At the time, I had no idea how any of it would unfold, but it did. One thing that came through clearly was that I was supposed to do something in this space. To share it. To help people the way I was being helped. I didn’t know what that looked like yet, and honestly, I didn’t push it. I just filed it away and kept healing.
For a long time, nothing felt right. I knew I wanted to be part of this world in some way, but I didn’t want to force it. Ibogaine teaches you pretty quickly that you don’t get the experience you want, you get the experience you need, and I think that applies to what comes after, too. So I waited.
I had Third Wave bookmarked for a couple of years. I had always intended to dig into it at some point, use it as a resource, and learn more. I just never really had. One day, I was finally looking around on their site and realized they offered a microdosing coaching certification program. Something about it immediately felt different. Not just interesting, but right in a way I couldn’t fully explain.
I set up a consultation. And from the moment that call started, I felt it, that quiet knowing that I was exactly where I was supposed to be. Then, mid-consultation, while sitting on my lanai, a hawk landed on my pool cage. Just sat there. I had never seen a hawk do that before, and haven’t since that day. In many traditions, hawks are messengers, signs that you’re on the right path. I took it as exactly that.
I’ve always known that I wanted to help people heal the way that I had. Not by pushing anyone toward a 12-hour journey if that’s not where they are, but by meeting them where they’re at. Microdosing felt like the perfect place to start. It’s accessible, it’s gentle, and it changed things for me in ways I’m still noticing. This program felt like the next piece of the puzzle.
